Summer Camps That You Can Register for TODAY

Historical Museum at Fort Missoula: Become a History Detective at HMFM’s Summer History Camp! Travel back through time to learn what life was like when the Fort was built in 1877, experience the trials, tribulations and triumphs of homesteading, experiment with bicycles just like the 25th infantry in 1896, imagine life as a forester during the 1910 fires, and much more! For older kids, the Jr. Docent Program at the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula is an opportunity for young people in the Missoula area to learn about the inner workings of museums.

Missoula Family YMCA: The Missoula Y offers a variety of camp options when school is out. They’ll learn new skills, swim in the pool, go on adventures, participate in STEAM activities, and make new friends. Financial assistance is available for all Y camps.

Championship Training: A variety of programs, including Sparring Camp, Taekwondo Camp, Summer Fun Camp, Demo Camp, Sports Camp and Leadership Camp will enhance your child’s confidence and leadership as they focus and enhance their skills. Not all camps are TKD specific. Kids in Summer Fun Camp will have Nerf Wars, play the egg toss game, play kickball and so much more.

Lil’ Griz Cubhouse: Kids will focus on fun stations in the morning, learning about science, art, or other aspects of education, and in the afternoon they will go on fun field trips to nearby parks or Splash Montana.

AR Workshop: Camp at this creativity hub is the perfect boredom buster. These morning camps teach canvas making, tie dye, paint and string art, and other skills!

Big Sky Preschool Academy: Let your budding architect, astronaut, forester, or ocean explorer learn through these weeklong morning or afternoon camps, geared toward kids ages 3-6 or 6-9.

Zootown Arts Community Center: Help your child build confidence and enhance their skills in the arts at Zootown Arts Community Center downtown.

DeCuire Basketball Camps: Summer camps open to any age (broken up by age group) taught by Travis DeCuire, who is heading into his eighth season as head basketball coach of the Grizzlies.

UM Soccer Camp: Your child will learn soccer skills from the pros at the University of Montana.

Missoula Strikers: Soccer skills taught at Fort Missoula Regional Park the first week of August.

Missoula Paddleheads: Missoula PaddleHeads Baseball Camp offers the finest instruction in a safe, positive atmosphere. It’s the perfect camp experience for every baseball-loving kid at any skill level.
