Missoula Gives Begins Today
Missoulian are a generous bunch, and it really shows the first Thursday and Friday of the month of May during Missoula Gives, a 26-hour online celebration of the Missoula and Ravalli communities. It connects generous Missoulians and Bitterrooters with the causes they care about. It is a day to celebrate all that Missoula and Ravalli are and the role nonprofits play in making our community great.
We live in a special place, our nonprofits play a significant role in the health, vibrancy, and culture of our community. This day is about holding up their mission-based work and celebrating them.

Missoula Butterfly House and Insectarium: After more than 12 years, a dream is almost realized. The Butterfly House and Insectarium is about to break ground on a tropical butterfly house and insect museum in Missoula. Donations support this new facility, plus help keep the bug mobile in motion and feeds the bugs!
CASA: Fun fact! 406 Families co-founder Charity Stubb was the CEO of CASA until her fourth child was born and she decided to shift into the role of stay-at-home mom. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Missoula provides independent, trained advocates to work for the best interests of children within the judicial system who are at substantial risk or have experienced abuse or neglect. They are raising money to support volunteers who work as child advocates.
Missoula Boxing Club: This organization leverages the appeal of competitive amateur boxing for the purpose of academic achievement, positive mentorship, and health citizenship of at-risk youth in northwest Montana. Missoula Boxing Club is raising money through Missoula Gives to enhance the Academic Center with 12 Dell Inspiron 2-in-1 computers. Donations will also go toward boxing gloves, students’ registration fee with USA Boxing, and other enhancements that aid students’ academic and athletic success.
