Teacher Appreciation Week
Teacher Appreciation Week is this week, and I think we can all agree that teachers and educators deserve a BIG round of applause. Homeschool and remote learning families, that means you too!!
You don’t have to spend a lot of money or time to acknowledge your child’s teacher and thank them. Here’s a few easy ways make your child’s teacher feel special:
Create a video, record a song or make a digital photo collage of your student and why they appreciate their teacher—send via email.
Have your child make a card, draw pictures, or write an appreciation letter and then mail it to your child’s school.
Pick a square on the sidewalk in front of your child’s school and have your child draw a picture or write a message to their teacher in chalk—take a picture of your child’s artwork and then send to your child’s teacher.
Ask the teacher what they need! Many teacher’s keep Amazon wishlists or have some ideas of classroom needs, it never hurts to ask!
You can never go wrong with a gift card. Coffee, lunch, grocery stores, massages and more. Treat your teach and shop local! Teacher’s Pay Teachers is another great way to help get teachers some extra classroom materials!
