Scheels is Opening: Here’s Your Chance to Preview it Early

Scheels, the world’s largest all-sports retailer, is opening in Missoula on Saturday, but you have the chance to check it out early.

Scheels is looking for faux shoppers to help their staff train for interacting with customers. They need 50 customers per day to shop with fake money, using different scenarios. It’s a chance to see the store, sip some complimentary coffee and treats, and help before the Grand Opening.

According to an email from the company, the store is looking for “humans of all ages, dogs, babies, creative thinkers, messy eaters, a cat in a stroller, all are welcome.”

“We want these scenarios to be as realistic as possible,” the email reads.

A Facebook post about Scheels is asking for volunteers to sign up to be pretend shoppers as the store prepares to open in Missoula.

Scheels is known for being the largest all-sports retailer in the country and having amusements inside their stores. Missoula’s store boasts a bowling alley, arcade, coffee shop, playscape and other entertainments.

Grand Opening is Saturday October 2nd and celebration is planned for 7 a.m. on opening day with doors opening at 9 a.m.
