Coping Mechanisms from Us to You
It’s been an intense week, rounding out an intense year, and it seems it seems like it’s only going to get more intense. As the country waits while poll workers count ballots, now feels like the perfect time to reach for that vice you’ve tucked away. But instead of picking up the bottle or texting an ex, we wanted to remind you of some coping mechanisms that you can be proud of.
Take a walk through a labyrinth

Volunteer

We recently wrote about two nonprofits: Mountain Home Montana and Missoula Boxing Club, but there’s dozens of wonderful ways to volunteer your time in Missoula.
Get Outside
Missoula is home to thousands of acres of trails, parks, and open lands? With so much outdoor beauty at your doorstep, why stay inside and click refresh on the electoral college map?
Tune into literally anything else
We’ve assembled some great distractions for kids, tweens, and teens. Need some more suggestions? Tiffany is sharing some of her favorite adult podcasts over on Instagram today.
Fine, eat some ice cream
If you’ve tried everything else and still feel like you need an unhealthy coping mechanism, you’re in luck because Missoula and the surrounding area are home to some sweet ice cream spots.
