4:00PM Pinocchio
Missoula Community Theatre
Geppetto fashioned the puppet in the image of a small boy. Even as the lonely and kind woodcarver worked far into the night, old Geppetto was not aware that the wood under the chisel had come from the trunk of an enchanted tree. But the Blue Fairy was aware, as she watched from afar and gave to that puppet the gift of life. Thus, begins the Missoula Children’s Theatre adaptation of one of the most beloved of all children’s stories–PINOCCHIO. Purchase tickets HERE

12:00PM Failte Montana Irish Festival
Caras Park
The Fáilte Montana Irish Festival brings awareness to the University of Montana's Irish Studies program and the cultural and learning opportunities provided by the Friends of Irish Studies in the West. By increasing our visibility and bringing together our community, we are able to bolster our fundraising efforts to continue supporting scholars, athletes, artists and performers.
Fáilte Montana is meant to be inclusive and welcoming of those in and traveling to Montana while participating in the preservation and promotion of Irish cultural practices (many of them dating back to prehistoric times). Musicians, dancers, hurlers and vendors from Montana will be largely featured, with a special performance by our headlining band JigJam—an Irish-born group that fuses traditional Irish music with American folk music.
