Nom-Tana: Lindey’s Steakhouse

From the moment you arrive in the parking lot at Lindey’s, you know you’re going to enjoy your dining experience. Nestled between the pine trees and located on the shores of Seeley Lake, Lindey’s Prime Steakhouse is one of western Montana’s best places to enjoy steak!

Upon entering, you’ll enjoy the rustic vibe that Lindey’s offers from historical artifacts featured in the waiting area to the pictures of the local landscape throughout the steakhouse. But the most elegant feature is the view overlooking the lake that you can see from any seat in the restaurant.

The best thing on the menu: steak, of course! It’s the best steak around and basically the only thing you can order from the menu. The Lindey’s Special Sirloin is a local favorite and all meals come with a salad, hash browned potatoes, garlic bread and pickled watermelon rind (don’t knock it til you try it!) These are big meals so if you have someone to share your meal with opt for the “Dinner Sharing.” The only thing missing from the menu is their delicious sautéed button mushrooms—a must!

Don’t worry, there’s a menu for the little ones and those who aren’t too keen on steak. Bayburgers, the local food truck parked near the shore of Seeley Lake and operated by Lindey’s, has a great selection of burgers and other sandwiches on their menu and can be ordered at the steakhouse.
