Literary Legacy: Kids Books about MLK, Jr.
Every third Monday in January, we celebrate the life and work of Martin Luther King, Jr. and his work as one of the most influential civil-rights activists. The holiday is a great opportunity to introduce them to the life and teachings of Martin Luther King, Jr., the civil rights movements, and important discussions about equality. We have put together some book recommendations for you to read with your kids to help start those discussions.
