This is a one-hour open gym time for kids walking to 12 years of age. You and your child will get to explore our facility in a supervised atmosphere. Come play in our gym, which features foam pits, trampolines, obstacle courses and so much more.

9:30AM Stroller Strides at Tool Park
Stroller Strides® is a functional, total-body conditioning workout designed for moms with kids in tow. Each 60-minute workout is comprised of strength training, cardio and core restoration, all while entertaining little ones with songs, activities and fun! Each Stroller Strides instructor is skilled to meet you where you are mentally and physically. You’ll leave class feeling connected, successful and energized! No more mama guilt! This class is all about self care in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Preschool Playtime is a favorite for kids and parents alike. For playtime, our gym becomes your playground. We set up fun stations and activities throughout the gym. Parents and children choose the activities that interest them most, including obstacle courses, pit games, trampoline time, swinging, sliding, and climbing. Every time you come it's a new fitness adventure.

We are a hands-on learning center located at Missoula Food Bank & Community Center dedicated to nourishing the bodies and minds of local children and families. Rich with science exhibits from spectrUM, literacy and STEM programming, and books from the Missoula Public Library for children, young adults, and parents, EmPower Place offers enriching experiences free of charge to all Missoula families.

Tiny Tales uses sounds, rhythms, and movement to help your child learn to read! Participants will sing songs, learn finger-plays and nursery rhymes, and hear stories. Tiny Tales will be recorded and posted online at a later date on the library’s official website and YouTube channel. Tiny Tales is presented by various Youth Services staff every Thursday and Friday at 10:30 AM in the Level Two Imaginarium.

Take your bike for a spin around the 2-mile fun loop, sign-up for the 10-mile bike route, or the BRAND NEW 20-mile extended route with a pitstop at Traveler’s Rest State Park. Afterward attendees enjoy a BBQ lunch with music, games, a rock wall, snow cones, cotton candy, and much more!

Mark your calendars for May 21st! Get ready for Missoula's FIRST ever Families First 500 adventure race at Ogren Park presented by Karl Tyler Chevrolet. For kids of all ages - grab your best teammate and get ready to race your way through 7 adventures. From tire flipping, to trivia, to racing your custom wearable race car around the final Karl Tyler race lap; this family-friendly adventure race is not to be missed!

The classroom at MAM is stocked with materials for middle and high school students to use for completing art assignments from school or simply to create projects of their own. A MAM staff member and college intern will be on site for each session. No RSVP required—drop in when you can! Limited to 12 students and COVID protocols are in place.

Stop Animation Workshop is suitable for kids around the ages of 9 to 13. Kids will work with cameras, animation software and green screen special effects. This activity is great for kids who want the choice of working on their own, or in groups to do live action skits, music and voice-overs. The free workshop goes from 1pm to 3pm. This event is every Saturday at 1pm through June 25, 2022.

This global day of action and celebration was created and founded by David Robinson and the Endangered Species Coalition in 2006, and has continued ever since. Join our celebration on Saturday, May 21, to get creative and learn more about endangered species!

The Boys and Girls Club of Missoula County, along with its fantastic sponsors, are proud to host our Fourth Annual Tutu Trot! Registration is going on now! Register today and run your 2.2 mile fun run (in a tutu, of course) in person with us on Sunday, May 22nd from 11AM - 1PM or anytime virtually from May 16 - May 31th! Your running still celebrates the 22,000 youth we have in Missoula County and all funds raised will go directly to our Back A Kid Scholarship Fund
