It feels so good to have fun things to promote and share now that more and more Montanans are vaccinated and businesses are resuming their regular activities. This Around Town will feature activities for this weekend through July 4 weekend in and around the Missoula area. Beginning in July, our regular ‘Around Town’ will be back!
Friday, June 25
Western Heritage Days 10am-4pm Friday and Saturday
Downtown Stevensville on Friday and Saturday, featuring local food, arts and crafts vendors, a chuck-wagon cook off, and fun and games that are a blast from the past.50-Mile Garage Sale various times all weekend
Named for the stretch of Highway 93 from North of Missoula to South of Darby, people from up and down the valleys will be selling their home goods, furniture, vehicles, clothes, and tools. Shop at your leisure, click here for a map.
Food Truck Friday 11am- 1:30pm Ronald McDonald House (3003 Fort Missoula Rd)
Back by popular demand, Ronald McDonald House will be hosting "Food Truck Friday" for another season! Each Friday between June 4th - August 27th, come and enjoy lunch at the Ronald McDonald House in Missoula! We'll have a different Food Truck parked in front of our House each Friday between 11:00AM - 1:30PM. A portion of the proceeds from lunch sales will be donated to RMHC of Western Montana. Be sure to stop by for some delicious food and support a great cause!

Family Fun Time 9:30am—11am YMCA Missoula
Join us at the Missoula YMCA for Family Fun Time— indoor, all-weather play place for families! Children and their families will enjoy bounce houses, tumbling mats, and more. Family Fun Time is offered Tuesdays (9:30–11:30 a.m.) and Saturdays (11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.) through May 2021.Included with YMCA Family and Household memberships. Day passes available.
Harry Potter Pottery 6pm-8pm Hearts Afire Pottery
ALL AGES WELCOME Witches hats, owls, goblets, snakes and more...We will be serving Harry inspired snacks like butter beer, hufflepuffs, owl droppings, and whatever else the wizards of Hearts Afire Pottery can come up with. $15 admission, plus the cost of your project.

Join UCC Missoula outdoors in the courtyard for a service of joy and resilience celebrating LGBTQ+ community and faith. Please wear a mask. You can also watch a shorter pre-recorded Pride service on YouTube anytime after 10 a.m. (and share it with friends).Free Family Roller Skating 4pm-5:30pm Ravalli County Fairgrounds

Fireworks Extravaganza! The return of Western Montana’s best firework displays is here. Three Firework Extravaganzas are set for the 2021 season, these will sell out fast!
Saturday, July 3
BBQ and Whiskey Fest 1pm-9pm Caras Park
Join us in Caras Park for the inaugural event of the year. Featuring BBQ vendors from around the state, an array of whiskey brands with signature cocktails and tastings, axe throwing, and live music. All ages event Free to attend $15 to participate. This includes a commemorative cup and three drink tokens.

Old-Fashioned 4th @ the Fort Celebration! 10am-4pm The Historical Museum at Fort Missoula
Suggested donation for admission is: $5/adults, $3/seniors, $2/students, and $15/family Children 6/under and HMFM members are free. Festivities begin at 10am and include: food trucks & cold beverages, model trains & ham radios, old-fashioned children’s games, activity booths hosted by area groups, a scavenger hunt (for adults, too), living history tours of the Lookout, Schoolhouse, Drummond Depot, Trolley Barn, & Locomotive, historic steam-engine sawmill demos, antique engine displays, historical surveying and MT genealogy, craft vendors, special goings all day at the Homestead Cabin with games, hands-on activities, and demonstrators, miniature ponies and farm animals.Funk The Pandemic Funk Festival 2pm-9pm Silver Park Missoula
