Friday, June 10:

10:30AM Preschool Playtime at Roots Acro Sports

  • Preschool Playtime is a favorite for kids and parents alike. For playtime, our gym becomes your playground. We set up fun stations and activities throughout the gym. Parents and children choose the activities that interest them most, including obstacle courses, pit games, trampoline time, swinging, sliding, and climbing. Every time you come it's a new fitness adventure.

    We are a hands-on learning center located at Missoula Food Bank & Community Center dedicated to nourishing the bodies and minds of local children and families. One part community center, one part science museum, one part food hub, and one part library, there is something for every learner at EmPower Place! Rich with science exhibits from spectrUM, literacy and STEM programming, and books from the Missoula Public Library for children, young adults, and parents, EmPower Place offers enriching experiences free of charge to all Missoula families.

10:30AM Tiny Tales and Story Time at the Public Library

  • Tiny Tales uses sounds, rhythms, and movement to help your child learn to read! Participants will sing songs, learn finger-plays and nursery rhymes, and hear stories. Tiny Tales will be recorded and posted online at a later date on the library’s official website and YouTube channel. Tiny Tales is presented by various Youth Services staff every Thursday and Friday at 10:30 AM in the Level Two Imaginarium.

  • BASEBALL BREWFEST --- What’s better than a brewfest? A brewfest at a baseball game! And that’s exactly what we’re doing. In addition to their game ticket, fans can purchase a $15 ticket to participate in beer tasting throughout the stadium with over 15 breweries from across Montana! With your Brewfest ticket you will receive a 10 oz PaddleHeads Beer Mug and 2 beer tokens. Extra beer tokens will be 2 for $3. This game is also a Paddle Game with teams Beer, Wine, Seltzer, and Cider! Brought to you by 105.9 Jack FM.

8:00AM Farmer’s Markets in Missoula
Caras Park and North End of Higgins by the Xs

  • Missoula Farmer’s Market: Missoula's original farmers' market. A gathering of food and friends since 1972. Local and loving it in downtown Missoula. Located at the north end of Higgins Avenue (by the XXXXs)-- and online! Welcome to our marketplace of locally grown and produced food. Saturdays May-September 8am-12:30pm, October 9am-12:30pm; Tuesdays June-September 5-7pm

  • Clark Fork River Market: The Clark Fork River Market provides a scenic setting for buying locally-grown fruits and vegetables, meat, fish, honey and plant starts from area farmers and ranchers. A variety of products such as fresh baked bread, pastries, kombucha, ferments, jam, wool goods, nursery plants, flowers, and other wares are available as well!

9:00AM Mountain to Meadow Half Marathon & 10k

  • The Mountain to Meadow Half Marathon & 10k follow gravel Forest Service roads starting and finishing from the Lolo Pass Visitor’s Center. Runners will pass through flowering meadows, quiet forests, and experience unique views of the Bitterroot Mountains. Join us this June and enjoy the beautiful course along the Montana-Idaho border!

9:00AM-10:15AM Family Fun Time at Mismo Gym

  • This is a one-hour open gym time for kids walking to 12 years of age. You and your child will get to explore our facility in a supervised atmosphere. Come play in our gym, which features foam pits, trampolines, obstacle courses and so much more.
    Preregistration on our website is necessary to participate each day.

12:00 Family Style Tie Dye Open Workshop
Zootown Arts Community Center

  • Saturday // June 11 // NOON-3 PM // $20 per family or group of four* *Bring your own T-shirt, or purchase a T-shirt from our Artists' Shop.
    Create something fun for that rad father figure in your life, make matching shirts for your upcoming reunion, or simply update some outdated pieces in your wardrobe with this family-style tie-dye open workshop! All you need are YOU, up to three of your closest family members or friends, your white cotton shirts or market bags – and you’ll be ready to get your dye on! This workshop is the perfect opportunity to learn about and test the tie-dye waters. You provide the white cotton – and we'll provide the dyes, the know-how, and take care of all the mess!
