Camps That Are Open for Registration-TODAY
If you’ve been in Missoula any length of time, you know some camps sell out almost instantly. You don't want to sleep on the opportunity to grab a spot, so we’re going to do you a favor and not write a big long intro to this blog post. Without further ado:
MOLA- Wilderness Adventures
The MOLA Team is excited to announce another summer of adventure ahead. Unlike any other summer camp in Missoula, MOLA is action-packed and dedicated to daily outdoor adventures. During their time at MOLA, campers will advance their leadership and outdoor skills, grow their self-confidence, enhance their sense of teamwork, and deepen their appreciation for the natural world, all while making new friends and having plenty of fun!
Missoula Children’s Theatre
MCT camps are days of action-packed fun, laughter, music, and expression. All of the students will participate in a fun audition, receive a role, and rehearse the production. Students will also experience the freedom of improvisation, the excitement of theatre skills development, movement, art classes, and the thrill of performing! Day camps are open to students entering grades 1-12. 9 AM-5 PM, Monday-Thursday.
On Fridays, camp begins at 9 AM and finishes after the 6 PM performance. Day camps take place at the MCT Center for the Performing Arts in Missoula.

Missoula YMCA
When the Village People sang “It’s fun to stay at the YMCA” we’re pretty sure they weren’t talking specifically about the summer camps at the Greater Missoula YMCA, but they might as well have been. Between the three of us, our kids have played sports, swam, learning cheer, and done a host of other activities at the Y. There’s a wide gamut of activities to accommodate a wide variety of schedules, but don’t wait so you can get your kid into the ones they want!
Montana Natural History Center
The Montana Natural History Center is hosting a total of 10 weeks of camp. Each theme week runs twice throughout the summer. They also are teaming up with the Missoula Butterly House & Insectarium to offer two weeks of themed camps!
Camps run from 9:30-3:30. Before and aftercare is available for free for those who need it (no extra charge, no additional registration) from 8:30-9:30 & 3:30-5:30.
Explore the outdoors this summer and learn traditional skills from all over the world or beef up your brain with our STEM camps. Archery, survival skills, robotics, projectiles and more, we’re gearing up for an amazing summer!
Kids will learn the fundamental instructions of basketball from Grizzly coaching staff and players and experience competition for all levels and ages. Youth who participate receive camp ball and t-shirt and engage in fun activities all week.
Kids will get a a hands-on crafting experience in one of AR Workshop’s Youth Camps! Research their calendar to see which camp is right for your child.
